Description of the offer :

The SPIN team at Institut Jean Lamour is offering a 1-year renewable postdoctoral position within the M-ERA.NET "GREEN MEM" project, which aims to develop sustainable, non-polluting materials for spintronic devices that reduce the energy consumption of AI and big-data computing. The successful candidate will optimize e-beam lithography processes to fabricate nanodevices, adapt a setup for sub-nanosecond pulse measurements (down to 100 ps), and test magnetic tunnel junctions based on novel materials, including graphene-intercalated systems, for spin-orbit torque (SOT) switching of the free layer.
