We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to pursue their PhD or Postdoc with us in the field of nonlinear spin wave dynamics and their control via voltage to develop neuromorphic computing. The candidate will be performing high frequency measurements to study linear and nonlinear spin wave dynamics using techniques like Spin wave propagation spectroscopy and Brillouin Light Spectroscopy. He/She will optimise materials to change interface properties using voltage application with the goal to control spin wave properties via electric field effect. Several of these steps include clean room fabrication procedures (rf antenna, gate electrodes). Micromagnetic simulations will be employed to understand the physical mechanisms behind the observed properties.
