If you would offer to host ICM in 2030, please indicate your interest by June 30, 2026.
The International Conference on Magnetism (ICM) is the largest conference of the magnetism community worldwide and is associated with the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) and its Commission of Magnetism (C9). It covers the whole area of magnetism, from fundamental research to advanced applications.
If you would offer to host ICM in 2030, please indicate your interest by sending an email with subject “ICM 2030 proposal” to the C9 Chair Shinji YUASA at yuasa-s@aist.go.jp and the C9 Secretary Olivier FRUCHART at Olivier.FRUCHART@cea.fr and provide a proposal (MS Word or PDF file), which contains the following information, by June 30, 2026.
(1) Organizing Committee
– Names of General Chair(s), Program Co-Chairs, etc.
– Host society(s) and sponsor(s)
(2) Venue
– Location and accessibility
– Details of auditorium(s), meeting rooms, hall(s) for poster sessions and exhibition
– Facilities for hybrid participation (if available).
(3) Schedule
(4) Accommodation
– Room rates for regular and student accommodation
– Number of rooms for regular and student discount rates
(5) Visa acquisition status of the host country
(6) Estimated Budget
– Expected registration fees, policy for early-career scientists
– A draft of the budget indicating the general breakdown of expenses and how they would be balanced with income.
If we receive more than three proposals, we will review the proposal documents and select three to proceed to interviews and bidding.
