Call for the 2026 EMA Dominique Givord Award

The call for nominations for the 2026 EMA Dominique Givord Award is open until January 31, 2026.

Launched in 2019 by the European Magnetism Association (EMA), the Dominique Givord Award is awarded every three years to an outstanding scientist or a group of up to three scientists for major contributions to magnetism research and the European magnetism community.

The call for the 2026 Dominique Givord Award is now open. We would like to invite you to participate. Please send your nominations by January 31, 2026, to both the EMA Awards Officer (Jeffrey McCord) at jmc@tf.uni-kiel.de and the EMA President (Dennis Meier) at dennis.meier@uni-due.de.

The award consists of a certificate, a medal, a monetary award of €3000, an invitation to deliver a plenary talk at the JEMS 2027 in Prague, Czech Republic, and to attend the award ceremony, as well as a travel allowance of €500 for this purpose.
