2024 ERC Advanced grants disclosed

European Research Council announced the awarding of 281 Advanced Grants to outstanding research leaders across Europe for a total of €721 million. Among these, two projects are related to magnetism.

The European Research Council has awarded funding, worth a total of €721 million, to 281 leading researchers across Europe. The Advanced Grant competition is one of the most prestigious and competitive funding schemes in the EU. It gives senior researchers the opportunity to pursue ambitious, curiosity-driven projects that could lead to major scientific breakthroughs. The new grants are part of the EU’s Horizon Europe programme.
