In this Editorial, Olivier Fruchart and Dennis Meier, President and Vice-President, announce the renewed members of the General Council (GC) and the newly elected ones.
Dear Colleagues and Members of EMA,
Every year, we elect new National Representatives for the expiring seats on EMA's General Council (GC). This year, we held elections for the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Moldova, Serbia, and Ukraine.
The 2025 GC election has just finished with a participation of 73%. It is with great pleasure that we announce the results in the table below. We congratulate our newly elected GC members, and we wish all of them a very successful term in the GC.

The next meeting of the GC will take place during JEMS 2025 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on August 26th, 2025.
Participants at JEMS will have the opportunity to attend the EMA plenary session on Wednesday afternoon, August 27th. After the EMA plenary session, there will be an informal meeting with light snacks and drinks where participants can meet with the National Representatives of the GC of EMA, the EMA Officers, and the EMA Presidents.
We would also like to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Ivan NEDKOV, Damir PAJIĆ, Cathrine FRANDSEN, Raivo STERN, Maarit KARPPINEN, Andrejs CEBERS, Anatoli SIDORENKO, Vladan KUSIGERSKI, Oleksandr TOVSTOLYTKIN, who will finish their second term on the GC of EMA in August 2025.
