PDRA - Nanoparticle Development for Magnetic Particle Imaging

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the magnetic materials group at the University of Liverpool. The position is part of a funded project to develop magnetic nanoparticles for advanced imaging and sensing applications. The project targets new advances in Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) by co-developing advanced magnetic nanoparticles alongside next-generation detection methodologies. A central component to the project will be the development of magnetic multi-shell nanoparticles and lithographed nanostructures via physical vapour deposition, and associated patterning techniques.
