PhD: Spin–Orbit Torques in van der Waals Heterostructures

PhD position in the Physics and Engineering of Nanodevices (PEN) Group at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2), Barclona, Spain. --Project Topic: Spin–Orbit Torques in van der Waals Heterostructures This project focuses on advancing the fundamental understanding of interfacial spin–charge–orbital conversion and establishing design rules to maximize spin–orbit torques in next-generation van der Waals heterostructures. The position is funded through PHYNEST, a Horizon Europe MSCA COFUND doctoral programme coordinated by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
