Female tenure track assistant professorship in experimental solid-state physics

The Institute of Solid-State Physics at Graz University of Technology is seeking an outstanding scientist for a tenure track assistant professor position (exclusively open to female scientists) to foster and complement our research profile (if.tugraz.at). The experimental research shall be dedicated to the advancement of basic science, possible research activities include, but are not limited to, the advancement of innovative scattering techniques, deepening the understanding of the device physics of unconventional semiconducting materials, exploring 2D semiconductors, topological, and twisted 2D materials, the study of dynamic processes in solids (e.g. charge, spin, heat, or mass transport), quantum-defect sensing (for sensing electric, magnetic, strain, or thermal fields at the nanoscale), or the fabrication of novel materials with defined structures (potentially useful for applications like solar cells, etc.) to study their physical properties.
