Non-linear electronic transport with 2D magnetic materials

The research topic encompasses the interplay between electron and spin transport in 2D materials and van der Waals heterostructures. In particular, we will explore the optimal reading of magnetic information via non-linear effects. The project also foresees the integration of optimal working materials into functional nanodevices. The research to be performed will require the exfoliation and stacking of 2D materials into van der Waals heterostructures, the nanofabrication of devices (thin film deposition, electron-beam lithography, etching), and magnetotransport measurements (under high magnetic fields and low temperatures).
