We have a vacancy for a PhD student in Quantum Calorimetry. The thesis work is concerned with the development and utilization of magnetic microcalorimeters (MMCs) to measure radionuclides. Experience in (and enthusiasm for) experimental low temperature physics, Python-based data evaluation and nuclear physics is advantageous.
