The Executive Board (EB) consists of the President, the Vice President, the Treasurer, and Officers each dedicated to a specific task. The EB makes operational decisions for EMA on a daily basis, under the supervision of the General Council made yearly, or more frequently if key decisions are involved.
The President carries out the general supervision of EMA affairs, with the approval of the General Council, and assisted by the Vice-President. The President and Vice-President are elected by the General Council for a three-year mandate, not renewable. The outgoing President serves the EMA as Past President for one term, while the Vice-President is a natural candidate to be considered for election as the next President.
