Prizes: 2022 EPS condensed Matter Division Europhysics Prize winner

The 2022 EPS Condensed Matter Division (CMD) Europhysics Prize has been awarded to Prof. Agnès Barthélémy and Dr. Manuel Bibes (CNRS/Thales laboratory of University Paris-Saclay), Prof. Ramamoorthy Ramesh (UC Berkeley) and Prof. Nicola Spaldin (ETH Zurich) for seminal contributions to the physics and applications of multiferroic and magnetoelectric materials.

Prizes: 2022 IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism

The IUPAP Commission on Magnetism is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2022 IUPAP Early Career Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism is Dr. Chunhui Du (University of California, San Diego) for “fundamental contributions to the understanding, detection and control of spin dynamics and spin currents in magnetic oxides.”

Prizes: Nora Dempsey, laureate of the CNRS 2021 Innovation Medal
