We invite applications for 1–2 fully funded 4-year PhD positions in the Magnetism and Spin-Orbitronics Group at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Project Focus: Research will focus on low-dimensional magnetic systems, with emphasis on spin/orbital current excitation, magnetization dynamics, and development of novel thin-film materials for spin-orbitronic applications. Hands-on Training Includes: Magnetron sputtering Nanofabrication (photolithography, e-beam) Material characterization (XRD, AFM, XPS, SEM, TEM) Magnetic and electrical transport measurements Who Should Apply: Motivated candidates with a background in Physics or Materials Science, strong research interest in condensed matter physics/spintronics, and good analytical and communication skills. Programming skills (MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW) are a plus. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. Enthusiasm and potential matter more than meeting every listed criterion. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled. To Apply: Send your CV and a short statement of interest to: Dr. Shilei Ding shilei.ding@outlook.com
