PhD: Exploring emergent properties of antiferromagnets

During this PhD thesis, we propose to explore the properties of exotic antiferromagnetism, in non-collinear antiferromagnets like Mn3Sn or in altermagnets. We will image their magnetic state at the nanoscale using scanning NV center magnetometry, both at 4K and room temperature. We will in particular examine domain walls, as their internal structure should give us insight about the balance of magnetic interactions.
