In this Editorial, Olivier FRUCHART and Dennis MEIER, President and Vice-President, announce the renewed General Council (GC) members and the newly-elected ones.
Dear Colleagues,
Every year, we elect new members for the expiring seats on EMA's General Council (GC). This year we held elections for the following countries: Armenia, Cyprus, Georgia, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
The 2024 election for the GC just ended with a voter participation of 83%. It is with great pleasure that we announce the results in the table below. We congratulate our renewed GC members and the newly-elected ones and we wish all of them a very successful term in the GC.

The next meeting of the GC will take place during the ICM2024 in Bologna, Italy, on July 3rd, 2024.
We would also like to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Christian Back and Pietro Gambardella, who will finish their second term on the GC of EMA in July 2024. It was a great pleasure working with you, and we greatly appreciate all your valuable input over the years. Thank you for your commitment to EMA, and we hope we will stay in close touch with you as ambassadors of EMA in Germany and Switzerland.
