2024 IUPAP Magnetism Awards - Call for nominations

Call for nominations for "2024 IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal" and "2024 IUPAP Early Career Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism" is open till January 31, 2024.

The IUPAP Early Career Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism is awarded every year to a "young" scientist (max. 8 years of research after obtaining doctorate) for theoretical or experimental work in fundamental or applied magnetism. The award consists of a certificate, medal and a monetary award of 1,000 CHF. The awardee will be invited to present his or her results at the next ICM conference (30th June – 5th July 2024, Bologna, Italy).

The IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal are presented every three years, at the International Conference on Magnetism, to a scientist (or scientists) who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of magnetism. A prize of $6,000 is awarded by IUPAP together with the medal. The awardee will be invited to present his or her results at the next ICM conference (30th June – 5th July 2024, Bologna, Italy).
