New Experimental Approaches in Magnetism is the 2005 edition Summer School part of the Series of the European School on Magnetism. It will take place from Sept.7th to Sept.16th in Constanta, Romania, located on the Coast of the Black Sea.

The impressive development of magnetism during the last twenty years is closely related to the great progress in preparation and characterization techniques. The purpose of the school will be to provide a large overview of the advances in the experimental approaches to magnetism, with special emphasis on the most recent developments. Additional topical lectures will be given on some of the newly developed research topics. The school is addressed mainly to PhD students and post-docs. It will consist of 25 lectures, presented over a period of 10 days, by scientists who are directly active in today's research.
