European School on Magnetism : Deadlines

Registration has been frozen on May 29th, mid-day, while the number of registrants was coming close to 100. Indeed the number of participants shall not exceed this number, so as to keep close interactions between participants and lecturers. Further registration requests will be placed on a waiting list. Acceptance or refusal on this list will be notified shortly after June 30th, the date when early registrants have been requested to have proceeded to payment.

Registration-related deadlines

May 31th, 2009	Early registration closes. Registration fees become 400€
June 30th, 2009	Deadline for payment of the fees for persons registered before May30th. Later 400€ apply whatever the registration date.

Registration process

The registration consists in three steps:

Fill-in a registration form. If you wish to present a poster, simply provide a title in the registration form
Send the registration form to the school office
Proceed to the payment of fees

Eligibility

For European participants the eligibility will be based on a first-come fist-served basis.
Non-European participants will be notified their eligibility on June 10th, depending on the number of European participants already registered. The registration fees will remain at 360€ until June 30th, if registration proceeded before May 31st.

Registration fees

The fees include accommodation (arrival August 31st evening, departure September 11th morning), all meals and coffee breaks. Various financial supports have made possible to keep these fees rather low, to support the venue of students. No extra support is available. In particular, travel costs remain at the charge of the attendees.

Early fee (for registration till May 31th and payment before June 30th): 360€.
Regular fee (for registration after May 31st, or payment after June 30th: 400 €.

In order to simplify the administrative work, the registration form is given in Word format, and makes use of macros (scripts) to automatically analyze the form sent by email. For the macros to execute correctly, you need to enable the use of macros: to do this in Word, open the menu Tools\ Macros\ Security... and select an option allowing macros. Then (re-)open the registration form.

Payment details

Once you have registered, you should send payment as indicated in the rules of payment document. Do not forget to include "ESM2009" and the name of the participant along with the payment (reference of bank transfer etc.).
