The development of magnetism in the last years is greatly
correlated to the discovery of new magnetic materials exhibiting
enhanced properties thus opening new areas of applications. Within this
approach, a large overview of the present subjects of study of magnetic
materials was given to the students. The school was addressed mainly to PhD students and post-docs.
It has consisted of 25 lectures and several open question sessions, presented over a period of 10 days,
by scientists who are directly active in today's research. Download
first call leaflet.
The School has gathered 130 participants, among which 30 lectures/organizers and 100 attendies. These were originating
from laboratories located in 16 different countries in Europe. 26 nationalities were represented over four continents.
