Magnetism of Nanostructured Systems and Hybrid Structures
September 1-10, 2003, Brasov, Romania
In 2003 the Summer School was organized at the Transylvanian University in Brasov,
from September 1st to 10th. It was devoted to nanomagnetism, especially with the object of putting some
emphasis on spin electronics and on hybrid nanostructures. The courses were given by 20 lecturers,
originating from several Universities, in France (Grenoble, Paris, Orsay, Nancy, Strasbourg, Toulouse),
Romania (Cluj, Iasi) and Europe (Chemnitz, Warsaw).
Seventy participants (students and scientists) attended the school, from different Institutions in Romania,
France, Netherland, Germany and Moldavia.
