2018 IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal. 2018 IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism. Deadline for nominations: 31 Jan 2018.

This year, the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) C.9 Magnetism Commission awards 2 prestigious prizes:

2018 IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal
2018 IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism

Deadline for nominations: 31 January 2018

The IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal (+$3,000) are presented every three years, at the International Conference on Magnetism, to a scientist (or scientists) who has made an outstanding contribution to the field of magnetism.

IUPAP Young Scientist Prize in the field of Magnetism (+$1,000) is awarded every year to a young scientist (<8 years after receiving PhD) for theoretical or experimental work in fields of fundamental or applied magnetism.
