The General Council consists of representatives of the European countries active in magnetism research, typically one representative per country. It defines the general policy developed by the EMA. It oversees that the actions developed by the EMA, as well as those developed by associated bodies (ESM, JEMS, etc..), respect the Statute of the association.
The editorial committee is in charge of suggesting news for inclusion in the web site and monthly newsletter. These may pertain to the use of magnetic materials in products and technology, market, patents, education, ground-breaking science.
The operational team runs the practical actions of the European Magnetism Association on behalf of the general council, and for the benefit of the community.
